I hand select premium pine (no knots) and cut to 2.50" x 9" and 3/4" thick. I use only the highest quality satin finish paint on the entire wood piece. I also added the base (3" wide x 1 1/2"). I created and printed the design and permanently applied it to the wood. I also use matching paint to blend the design into the painted wood block. I added the base with a screw. All edges are sanded for a slightly worn look.
