Here is a great Valentine decor sign for your island, table or desk. I use only premium 3/4" pine and cut it to 9 " in length. I paint the wood red in satin finish. The verse is permanently applied and hand distressed around the edges with matching paint to blend into the wood block. The edges are sanded to reveal the raw wood for a slightly worn look.
