The entire piece is yellow with Clark & Kensington satin finish paint. I have sanded the front edges sanded to reveal the raw wood under. The saying and permanently applied it to the wood. A final step of distressing the edges of the saying with matching paint to blend it into the block makes this a high quality decor piece for your home.
