This 8" diameter plate frame is for 6" round inserts that are widely popular now. Each plate is cut from layers of 1/4" birch wood. The black plate is painted with satin finish and comes with a matching black plate stand that I also cut from 1/4" birch wood. The stained version comes with matching stained plate stand that is also cut from 1/4" birch wood. The back is also stained too and edges sanded slightly. For indoor use only. NOTE: I have discontinued the inserts for these frames.
