Here is a great Summer watermelon wood sign I created for your counter, shelf or desk. I use only premium pine (no knots) that I cut to 2 1/2" x 9" and is 3/4" thick. The wood is painted red in a satin finish to match the design perfectly. I permanently apply the design and then use matching paint to distress the edges to blend into the red painted wood. I finish this sign by sanding the edges for a slightly worn look.
